1. The Hitachi IFA Berlin 2016 competition is open only to people aged 18 and over as at the time of the competition opening. Employees of Hitachi are not eligible to enter. Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry and failure to comply with any part of these terms and conditions will disqualify the respective entry from the competition.
2. All entries must be received by 13:00 on Wednesday 7 th September (German time).
3. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
4. Each entrant shall enter the prize draw via Twitter, by uploading a photograph of themselves with the Hitachi competition sign with the hashtag #HitachiUHDTV. Obscene or inappropriate entries will not be accepted and Hitachi reserves the right to reject any entries for any reason at its sole discretion.
5. The promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
6. The winner will be selected at random and announced on Wednesday 7 th September at 12pm (German time) on the same day.
7. The winning prize is a Hitachi 49” Ultra HD TV. Hitachi will not be liable for any failure of receipt of entries.
8. Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available.
9. In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the promoter’s reasonable control, the promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the prize draw competition or these terms and conditions with or without notice.
10. The winner will be notified via the @HitachiAV Twitter account after the winner has been selected.
11. Copyright in all entries shall be owned by the promoter.
12. The decision of the promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
