London-based band Public Service Broadcasting were in need of two projectors to join them on their busy summer tour with a packed schedule of festival dates. Most notably including Glastonbury, Bestival and The Commonwealth Games, as well as headline slots at Womad and Larmer Tree amongst a total of twenty tour dates.

The projectors were required to project onto two ten foot screens at the back of the stage which were to be projection mapped using Resolume software. Projection mapping is the process whereby irregularly shaped objects and buildings can be transformed into a display surface for video projection.

The projectors were to display different images, a range of old newsreel footage and animation loops that are tightly timed with the music and fed from a Datapath X4 unit (a standalone display wall controller), originating via HDMI from a MacBook Pro Retina...
