When the Turkish State Theatre began to prepare the stage at Antalya Open Air Theatre for the production of "You are real Santa Claus", they were concerned about the narrow stage and the big screen. A high power light was required and that made the Technical Staff of the Theatre question how to solve this problem. After research and testing they could not get sufficient result. The installation of the stage had begun and the program of the theatre was announced. The technical team got in touch with EMN and shared their problem by supplying EMN with stage plans, visual content, size of the curtain, and the projection distance. EMN advised the technical team that their problem could theoretically be solved with a Hitachi CP-X10000 Projector and a USL-801 Ultra Wide Lens.
At first, the technical team installed the projector for front projection but the result was poor which resulted in changing the installation to back projection in order to meet all the needs and requirements, without compromise. After the re-arrangement of the curtain on the stage, the Hitachi CP-X10000 projector with USL-801 Ultra Wide lens was placed with appropriate distance and height. The theatre was depending on the quality of the image from the CP-X10000 with a screen size of 10 x 6m.
During the months of July, August and September, the theatre production was held twice a day for 2 hours each time. The CP-X10000 projector worked without any problems under the weather conditions in Antalya with the temperature of 35°C and 85% humidity. The Hitachi CP-X10000 played its role with success without the need of any technical intervention.
